Chad works primarily with mid to large-sized privately owned businesses to help them with lending and traditional banking services. In addition, he helps businesses position themselves for growth through acquisitions and other strategic alternatives. Chad holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Virginia Tech and has almost three decades of financial management experience. He joined TowneBank in 2014.
Chad has served on many boards including the MS Society, Virginia Chamber of Commerce and Virginia Capital Partners. He volunteers regularly with Caritas, Habitat for Humanity, and the American Cancer Society.

Alec partners with business owners to deliver financial efficiencies through custom banking solutions. He is skilled in all aspects of treasury services, lending, and credit analysis. Alec joined TowneBank in 2020.
Alec holds a Bachelor of Science in Finance from Virginia Tech. Alec actively volunteers in the community supporting Special Olympics of Virginia, JDRF, and Feed More.

Pat Collins, a native of Richmond, is the Regional President of TowneBank Richmond. Pat's focus is supporting our Richmond area bankers in developing commercial and private relationships based on trust and exquisite service. Passionate about the Richmond area, Pat also devotes time to organizations and volunteer activities committed to our local communities.
Prior to joining TowneBank in April of 2014, Collins held various leadership positions at StellarOne, SunTrust Robinson Humphrey, and Crestar Bank. Collins graduated from The Pamplin College of Business at Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in both Finance and Marketing. He also earned his MBA from Virginia Tech in 1983.
Curt has more than two decades of banking experience and has been instrumental in the growth of TowneBank in the Richmond market. Curt joined TowneBank in 2015. He received his undergraduate degree from Hampden-Sydney College with a major in economics.
Active in his community, he volunteers with the Richmond YMCA and with Tara's Children, a Richmond area Backpacks for Kids program.

Betsy has over 20 years of commercial business experience and joined TowneBank in 2020 with our expanded presence in Chesterfield. She is skilled in all aspects of lending, treasury services, and credit analysis. Betsy is a Richmond native and currently serves as the president of the River City Rotary Club and as vice president of the Richmond Chapter of the Risk Management Association. She received her bachelor of arts degree from the University of Richmond.
Duncan is a commercial business and relationship manager focused on the Richmond, Virginia area. Duncan has more than 2 decades of financial management experience and joined TowneBank in 2014. He received a Bachelor of Science from the U.S. Naval Academy and an MBA from The College of William & Mary.
Duncan actively volunteers in the community service as Board Treasurer for CrossOver Healthcare Ministry, Executive Board member of for Heart of Virginia Council B.S.A and at Saint Stephen's Episcopal Church.

Matt leads a team of private and commercial bankers who serve and enrich the lives of our members in Chesterfield County. Matt holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from the College of William and Mary, and an MBA from George Mason University. Matt serves as president of the Chesterfield Education Foundation, board chair for the Chesterfield Cultural Arts Foundation, and board member of the Greater Richmond YMCA.

Kevin Laing is a Commercial Real Estate Lender based in our Glen Allen location. He has over two decades of banking industry experience and joined TowneBank in 2013.
Kevin holds a Master of Business Administration in Finance from Wake Forest University and a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Virginia. Kevin currently serves on the First Tee of Greater Richmond board and is a YMCA and Upward Youth Sports Coach.
